Just the 5 matches to choose from this week so we’ve invested heavily in quality for our Hotcard headline selection and have gone with Clint Dempsey who needs no introduction. With 7 MLS goals to his name already this season he possesses all the attributes needed to record a big points haul here in what looks an attractive fixture for the Sounders at home to Dallas.

MLS Team of the Week

Forwards – Charlie Davies retains his place and should be good for another start here with Juan Agudelo only just returning from International duty with the US team. Kei Kamara and Jairo Arrieta , who have both been in terrific scoring form complete our 3-man attack.

Midfielders – Clint Dempsey will be joined in midfield by New York’s Ned Grabavoy who returned from injury last week and keeps things ticking over in City’s midfield. Dempsey’s team-mate Gonzalo Pineda and Orlando’s reliable Cristian Higuita fill the other two midfield berths.

Defenders – New England’s Andrew Farrell is our highest ranked defender and is an easy choice here. Seattle’s Tyrone Mears and Crew’s Waylon Francis complete our defence.

Goalkeeper – Bobby Shuttleworth looks good for a shut-out here with the Fire missing key players David Accam and Shaun Maloney who are away on International duty.
