Preparing for the Big Kick-off

The action has been coming thick and fast but daily fantasy football managers now get a couple of days respite before the knock-out stages of Euro 2016 commence. We’ve seen new operators entering the sphere, providing different game formats and scoring systems so the choice can be somewhat bewildering for newcomers. Here at Fantasy Football Portal we like to keep visitors up to date with all the latest developments and the release of the new Premier League fixtures has certainly whetted the appetite for what is to come.

The Silly Season

If you’re an experienced seasonal fantasy football manger you will know how important the transfer window is, as you try to pick a squad for the upcoming season, but even so, we strongly recommend that you download a copy of our Free eBook ‘Your #1 guide to becoming a successful fantasy football manager’. It’s the perfect companion for anybody who is thinking of transitioning from seasonal fantasy football to the daily variety.

The Official Fantasy Premier League

FPL diehards might be counting the days down to the start of the new season and there are a couple of eyecatching openers with Liverpool visiting the Emirates and Tottenham facing a trip to Goodison Park to take on what is sure to be a new-look Everton side, under the tutelage of Ronald Koeman. However, October 22nd is the standout date on the calendar – ‘The Special One’ will return to the Bridge, assuming he is still in the Old Trafford hot-seat!

If audio is your thing we’ve prepared a short podcast that walks you through the previous FPL season, which serves as a great introduction to the game and also highlights some of the plays that the 2015/16 champion made.

There is some talk that the Official Fantasy Premier League site might add a daily format to complement their season long version – if that happens Fantasy Football Portal will be here to guide you every step of the way!
