Spurs’ full back Trippier comes in as ‘bench boost’ chip is activated

Kyle Walker put in a disappointing performance when Spurs all but surrendered their hopes of title glory at the London Stadium last Friday, so we’re expecting the England full-back to pay the penalty by being axed on Sunday. Kieren Trippier is expected to come into the side and he will surely fancy his chances of doing enough to retain his place, against a Manchester United team that is sure to be a bit jaded following their Europa League exploits.

He comes in as our GW37 free transfer, at the expense of Gabriel, in the only change from GW36.

However, we have activated our bench boost chip in a last ditch attempt to make up ground in the overall FPL rankings.

Philippe Coutinho is the only player that will not have the opportunity of featuring twice in GW37 but Liverpool have plenty to play for as they look to secure Champions League football, so we were not prepared to take a hit to replace him.

If will be fascinating to see how many of our other ’14’ actually play twice, since a good degree of squad rotation is certain to occur during the game round.

Trippier and the aptly named Eden Hazard are clearly 2 players that might miss out, with the latter possibly being rested on Monday, should the Blues tie up the title tonight.

Gabriel Jesus just edges out Kevin de Bruyne in what was a very difficult call for the GW37 armband.

It promises to be a nail-biting gameweek  as the fate of many a mini-league is decided!
