FPL Selections – Gameweek 10

Can Manchester United keep it ‘clean’ in GW10?

We’re banking on a Manchester United clean sheet in Gameweek 10 with Burnley the visitors to Old Trafford. The Clarets have the lowest goal expectancy of all the participating sides this weekend, so we have decided to use our free FPL transfer on Antonio Valencia.

Charlie Daniels is the man to make way. The Bournemouth defender does have an eye for goal but he now appears to have slipped down the penalty-taking pecking order, following the return to fitness of Callum Wilson and the impressive form of Junior Stanislas.

Daley Blind might line-up in the centre of defence this week, with Eric Bailly out injured, so if United can secure that shut-out we’ll have a firm base to work from.

Warlord’s Etienne Capoue has failed to build on his bright start to the season but he gets a stay of execution, with a struggling Hull City side potentially there for the taking.

Romelu Lukaku gets the ‘armband’.
