EPL Goal Projections for Gameweek 11

Liverpool and Manchester City players set to dominate GW11 line-ups

There are just 3 points separating the top five sides in the table but with two of them meeting on Sunday in an eagerly-awaited North London derby and Chelsea hosting 6th placed Everton, it’s leaders Manchester City and 3rd placed Liverpool that will be looking to steal a march on their rivals, when they face ‘softer’ opposition.

Liverpool entertain Watford at Anfield, while Manchester City play host to Middlesbrough and both teams are expected to score heavily again.

Liverpool’s 4-2 win at Selhurst Park again highlighted the Reds defensive frailties but Jürgen Klopp will have been encouraged by the fact that Liverpool themselves scored two headed goals, against a Crystal Palace side that thrives on aerial battles, having attempted more crosses than any other side this season.

Liverpool’s lack of European football has to been seen as something of an advantage, especially in weeks like this, where Manchester City, for instance, have the return Champions League group match against Barcelona to contend with.

At the foot of the table Sunderland, Swansea City and Hull City all again face tough assignments and it is easy to foresee that any of them could soon become detached, should their poor form continue.

The Black Cats defence is set for a severe examination again on Saturday, when they travel to Bournemouth and this is one of the featured matches in Fantasy Football Portal’s exclusive freeroll contest.
