Battling Baggies Up For The Fight
Foster and Gibbs come into the mix ahead of GW14
Gary Megson’s West Bromwich Albion side put in a battling performance on Saturday to pick up a valuable point at Spurs. The Baggies sit just 1 point above the relegation zone but back-to-back home fixtures give them the ideal opportunity to put some much needed numbers on the board.
First up at the Hawthorns are Newcastle United, with Crystal Palace set to visit at the weekend. At the start of the season, many FPL manages pinpointed West Brom’s defensive options as a potential source of clean sheets but it just hasn’t panned out that way….yet!
Ahead of GW14, we’ve drafted in Ben Foster and Keiran Gibbs at the expense of Lukasz Fabianski and Ciaran Clark, so let’s see if they can justify our faith.
Rotation threatens to play havoc with many team-sheets this week so a strong bench looks a must, something we can happily say we have!
