What began as a simple theory is rapidly becoming a full-scale investigation. Every rumour, result and conversation now appears to support The Tiger’s belief that somebody has gained access to the Iron Tulip’s closely guarded knowledge.
The Mystery Deepens
Rather than abandoning his theory, The Tiger becomes even more convinced that the Satchel contains something of enormous value.
He now believes that pages from inside the Satchel have somehow found their way into the hands of others. If that is true, somebody somewhere possesses part of the winning formula.
The Kid remains intrigued, although he is becoming less certain that every coincidence is part of a grand conspiracy.
Following the Evidence
The investigation grows increasingly complicated as The Tiger tries to connect football results, rumours and tactical decisions from across Europe.
Each new piece of information seems to reinforce his theory, even when the evidence is far from conclusive.
To The Tiger, there are simply too many coincidences for them all to be accidental.
Whether anyone else agrees is another question entirely.
The Satchel Becomes a Legend
By this stage of Storybook, the Satchel has developed into one of the series’ defining running jokes.
Nobody has ever seen inside it.
Nobody can prove what it contains.
Yet almost everyone has a theory.
The more people speculate, the more mysterious it becomes, turning an ordinary briefcase into one of the most recognisable objects in the Storybook universe.
The Football Inspiration Behind the Comic
Football supporters often believe that successful clubs possess hidden advantages unavailable to everyone else. Secret tactics, confidential scouting reports and inside information become the subject of endless discussion.
Storybook exaggerates that idea by suggesting that an entire fantasy football formula may be hidden inside a single mysterious Satchel.

Instead of resolving the mystery, it pushed readers further into it, helping establish the Satchel as one of Storybook’s longest-running jokes.
The investigation now moves to Zurich, where events take another unexpected turn.
