ESPKINGS Pick6 was a free-to-play esports prediction game that challenged players to correctly predict the scores of six featured esports matches each week.
The game combined esports knowledge, match analysis and a little intuition, giving fans the opportunity to test their prediction skills across some of the world’s biggest competitive gaming titles.
How ESPKINGS Pick6 Worked
Players simply selected the correct score for each of the six featured matches before the competition deadline.
Featured fixtures were chosen from leading international esports competitions and could include games from:
- Counter-Strike 2 (formerly CS:GO).
- Dota 2.
- League of Legends.
- PUBG.
- Other major esports tournaments.
Predictions could usually be updated right up until shortly before the first scheduled match kicked off.
Tie-Breaker
To separate players who submitted identical predictions, entrants were also required to submit a tie-breaker prediction.
This additional prediction was used to determine the final leaderboard whenever multiple players finished on the same score.
Leaderboard and Results
Once all six matches had been completed, the final results were published and the leaderboard updated automatically.
Players could compare their predictions against other entrants and see exactly how they performed throughout the competition.
