Hull City vs Man Utd Match Preview
Tigers to cast envious eye over visitors star-studded bench
Before a ball was kicked in earnest, Mike Phelan’s Hull City side, who are down to bare bones, were written off as no-hopers. However, two wins out of two as certainly put the cat amongst the pigeons and Tigers’ fans will now be a bit more optimistic about their chances of preserving their Premier League status, for at least another season.
Manchester United fans have much more ambitious targets and chants of ‘’We want our trophy back’’ are likely to be reverberating around grounds up and down the country as the season progresses, with the immediate impact of Paul Pogba and Zlatan Ibrahimović raising their expectation levels.

Team news & predicted starting line-ups for Hull City v Man Utd
Mike Phelan has only used 12 players in the opening two Premier League fixtures but his side have still managed to pick up maximum points. Alex Ferguson’s former assistant has opted for a 4-3-3 formation in both games.
By contrast, José Mourinho is spoilt for choice, with a full squad to choose from.
Hull City fantasy player to watch
Curtis Davies was immense in the Tigers 2-0 win at Swansea City and he’s sure to be in for a busy afternoon, against Ibrahimović.
The defender, who has spent most of his career plying his trade in the Midlands, has always had an eye for goal, a valuable asset for any fantasy football defender and he even chipped in with an assist against the Swans.
Hull City team news
A midweek EFL Cup game at Exeter might have seemed like a welcome distraction for Hull but further injuries have not helped matters.
Greg Luer and Josh Tymon both hobbled off, joining the likes of Moses Odubajo, Alex Bruce, Allan McGregor and Michael Dawson in the treatment room.
The team pretty much picks itself, although, Phelan will need to choose between Shaun Maloney and Adama Diomandé for the wide forward role.

Man Utd fantasy player to watch
Paul Pogba completed 9 successful dribbles on his second Manchester United debut. The talent was there for all to see, so the big question for fantasy football managers is whether they can resist the temptation to stick him in their line-ups now.
He already looks capable of some monster fantasy scores with his roaming style, meaning that goals and assists are all but assured.
Man Utd team news
Mourinho may well stick with the same XI that started against the Saints. This would be good news for Marouane Fellaini, who is starting to look like he might actually salvage a decent career at Manchester United, despite all the criticism that has surrounded him, since his arrival at Old Trafford.
However, with an international break scheduled, ahead of what is sure to be a pivotal Manchester derby, Mourinho could easily be tempted to experiment with his line-up here.
Marcus Rashford will be hoping for some game minutes, after only being named in the England U-21 squad.
